We at Soundhoose have worked on multiple projects that include feature films, commercial spots for radio and television, and record producing. These projects include works that have been entered at Sundance Film Festival (Mud, 2018), along with other independent shorts such as Level (2017), Frostbite (2019), and War Poem (2018). Other commercials spots include works for Best Buy, Entellus, Allina Healthcare, Institute of Production and Recording (IPR), Pipeline Foods, My North, and Davanni's.  At Soundhoose, we provide our clients professional quality audio, and our undivided 1-on-1 attention. We are here for you 24/7. Whether it's audio editing, sound design, recording, ADR, or mixing and mastering, we will not turn any projects away. Brandon Smith - Sound Designer / Audio Engineer

 

Brandon is a native of Santa Clarita, California and has been working in both production and post production for over 8 years. He has IMDb credits for sound design, foley, assisted scoring, mixing and mastering for films such as A Winter's Love (2019), and Mud (2018)  which was submitted at Sundance Film Festival, and others include: Level (2017), Frostbite (2019) and War Poem (2018). Brandon has also engineered live sessions for artists such as CHVRCHES, Death Cab For Cutie, Lord Huron, Calexico, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Nightsweats, Static Panic, Phoebe Bridgers, Mt. Joy, Trampled By Turtles, Feist, Lake Street Dive, John Gorka, and Bedouine at Minnesota Public Radio's 89.3 The Current in Minneapolis. Brandon also interned at Undertone Music where he was a Foley artist and worked under lead editor Tom Hambleton (Captain Phillips, 2013). He is certified in Avid Pro Tools and has worked with other DAWs such as Logic Pro X and Ableton Live. He also released his first EP project Mr. Bad Luck, under his Soundhoose alias. Brandon produced and engineered his album alongside Grammy Award winner, Kevin Bowe and IPR instructor, Luke Harper. Brandon is credited for all lyrics and instruments played on the album. In addition, he has also edited in Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, Melodyne, and Adobe Premier. Since graduating from IPR, he has worked on several spots including works for Best Buy, My North (feat. Nick Swardson), Entellus Medical, Allina Healthcare, and Pipeline Foods. As a middle school student, he was already winning national awards in High School categories for publishing PSA's, commercials, and other videos. After high school, he created intro videos for the Corpus Christi Ice Rays of the North American Hockey League (NAHL) for their 2011-2013 regular seasons and playoffs. He graduated college with two AAS degrees in Sound Design for Visual Media and Audio Production and Engineering from the Institute of Production and Recording (IPR) in Minneapolis, MN.
